How is Afghani qorma made?

Qorma is a stew or casserole and like these can come in a wide variety with different ingredients, texture and taste. Most qorma’s are onion based which is fried with garlic and ginger. Meat is then added along with fruits, spices and vegetables depending on the recipe. Finally water is added and then left to simmer and slow cook. The onion caramelised and creates a rich coloured dish.
